Great podcast. I just discovered it and am burning my way through your episodes. Keep it up. I wrote you up on my blog at http://rpgpodcastreview.blogspot.com/.
Take a look at Waving Hands, http://www.gamecabinet.com/rules/WavingHands.html. It's a lesser known game that have always thought is pretty cool, at least from a mechanical sense.
Piecepack has been around for quite a while now, but I'll have to admit that I am not a fan. I have tried to design games with it, but the pcs. just aren't that interesting in the long run. Icehouse pieces, though they have fewer "values" attached to them, are more interesting to me.
Hi Doc',
I checked out your blog, it a cool read. Your not the first to mention Waving Hands, I really must get around to it.
I'm finding the piecepack a little bland at the moment, but I think it's a great way to try games. I'm actually thinking of making up a properly themed version of Piece Packing Pirates, using homemade sea tiles and plastic ships.
